1. Build your search terms and be willing to add to it, subtract to it, and change it based on the type of results that you're getting. Be very flexible about changing your search words throughout the process!
2. We can receive articles and books from any UW campus (and other campuses across the country). Don't hesitate to request something that isn't already available. It typically takes 2-7 business days to arrive.
3. Never pay money for an article! Always check Search at UW first and use the "Report a Problem" form in the item's record if an article is prompting you to pay.
4. Don't hesitate to ask for help! We can save you some time by suggesting new search words or resources to check that you might not know about yet.
