This guide explains how to evaluate media/news sources and internet sources, as well as provides useful resources to help you critically evaluate information.

How to Get Library Assistance

There are many ways you can get library assistance:

  1. Fill out an Ask a Librarian Form
  2. Set up a research appointment 
  3. Contact your liaison librarian
  4. Call the library at 715-425-3321
  5. Ask for help at the front desk in the library

Research Help Schedule

Library staff can provide basic research assistance at all times the library is open. 

Librarians are available for in-depth assistance:

Monday - Friday

10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Saturdays

11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Research Help hours vary during the summer and intersessions as well as holiday breaks (e.g. Fall Break, Thanksgiving Week).
