AI Tools

Generative Artificial Intelligence is one type of artificial intelligence (AI) system that generates text, images, and other media in response to user prompts.  These chatbots are not search engines where you are given a set of results to a specific search.  These text generators create texts based on prompts from a chatbot style interaction.

The following is a select list of AI tools.

  • ChatGPT
    • A popular text-generating AI tool from OpenAI that uses information scraped from the internet before 2022.  ChatGPT is trained using "Reinforcement Learning through human feedback" (RLHF) and generates a wide variety of responses, including  based off of custom user prompts.
  • Bard
    • Powered by Google's PaLM 2 model, the language model learns by "reading" trillions of words that help it pickup on patterns that make up human language.
  • Bing
    • Powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT4, Microsoft’s AI backed web search engine is one of the most capable search assistants. Utilizing the newest iteration of ChatGPT, the toolset offers in depth research and question resolution services through the Bing platform.
  • Claude
    • The latest version of Anthropic's large language model (LLM) can process large amounts of text, allowing you to upload large amounts of data as inputs for Claude to edit, rewrite, summarize, generate code, and more.
  • Dall-E 2
    • A generative art AI that creates realistic images and art from a description in natural langauge, this model is trained based on linking text to image data and is  built off of the GPT framework.
  • Bing Image Creator
    • A generative art AI that is powered by OpenAI's Dall-E, Bing Image Creator
